Malaysia-based Tranglo adopted Ripple’s payments technology at the end of last year, in order to drive cross-border payments into 18 countries. RippleNet is being used in China, India and Singapore amongst other locations, however the fintech company have not declared specific details on the integration process. Tranglo recently announced their collaboration with Alipay, which will enable its 1.2 billion users to receive rapid and safe money transfers. The partnership has been highlighted for its benefit to migrant workers, notably those in Asia, as cross-border payments have a strong standing with cash transfers globally.
