COO of OKEx Resigns to Launch Blockchain Consultancy Firm

The COO of OKEx, Andy Cheung, has resigned from his position to launch a startup consultancy firm. Cheung was based at OKEx since it first launched, overseeing the operations, marketing and PR of the global crypto exchange. Cited by many media outlets as the ‘top crypto influencer’, Cheung has publicly expressed his goal to “drive mass cryptocurrency adoption”, which he felt was limited whilst working at an exchange. His new venture BitWork is operating from Hong Kong, with a team of experienced blockchain experts it will provide consultancy services for cryptocurrency and blockchain projects. The firm aims to deliver bespoke solutions to help build projects, covering everything from market exposure to brand management.
