It appears that tech giants Apple and Google are both making attempts to restrict the use of Dapps on mobile devices. Google have already suspended the use of MetaMask on the Google App Store, and it now seems that Apple is removing Coinbase’s DApp browser from the App Store. CEO of Coinbase Brian Armstrong publicly expressed that the elimination of Dapps is “really unfortunate to see”, as the recent changes imply the global companies may be feeling threatened by the new generation of browsers.
